Apparently, people in our circle of friends have now started asking why I haven't blogged in over a week.  Everything's okay, but we've just been busy with a lot of things.  So I thought I would give you guys the executive summary of stuff that happened since I last wrote.

* We had some out-of town guests come come to Texas for a week and we had a few smorgasbords over at our house and the houses of all their relatives.  Mrs. Fly took some pictures so I'll post those in a future post.

* Also, I've been working hard to get the trading consulting business going, but that hasn't been as fruitful as I had hoped.  But we'll keep plugging along.

* I also got in a few hands of poker, but I ran like ass, so I'm barely even for the month.  Now I'll have to play a little more to keep my winning months streak going.  More importantly, I got another poker check, so the poker money is still coming (albeit slowly).

* Congrats to Derek Jeter on getting his 3000th hit.  I'll post more later - since I'm a lifelong Yankee fan.

* Also congrats to the US women's soccer team - that game vs Brazil was probably one of the best I've seen.  And the game vs France was pretty good too.  Too bad I won't be seeing more of the hotties (for soccer players) on the French team.  Apparently, they posed nude to generate more interest in the sport.  <3 French women...
