May was better, and as previously mentioned, I'm feeling better about some of the new things I'm working on.  I have a lot of Rush hands mixed in this month and I did a little experimenting, so it's hard for me to draw any conclusions from my stats this month.  Next month is a new month, and I'm looking forward to getting fully back into the 2/4+ grind.  I "only" played 123K hands last month, which is pretty surprising considering I was on such a solid pace earlier in the month, but considering I'm trying to average 125K hands a month, I suppose I can't be too disappointed.  I'm starting to fall noticeably off my financial goal pace, and I need to pick it up a little more.

Whenever you have a meh graph, meh stats are sure to follow.  My win rate is pretty bad, but I started playing better later in the month.  Including rakeback, I'm up 21K on the month, which is decent, but not great.  My ev-adjusted 6max and FR win rates were about the same.  I just ran 6.5K above ev in 6max and just as much below ev in FR.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Well, Mrs. Fly's rib rub (likin' the sound of that!) is pretty good and so is her homemade sauce, but apparently, I have no idea how to smoke meat.  I smoked the ribs over low heat for 7 hours, and they still were not tender.  Tasty, juicy and chewy, but "chewy" is not an adjective you want to hear with ribs.  To be honest, I have no idea how smoking works.  Prolonged exposure to dry heat would make the exterior of the ribs dry and chewy, no?  I tried putting a pan of water underneath, but that didn't help.  This is definitely a step backward on my path to PitMasterdom.  Mrs. Fly wants to "cheat" the next time - bake them in the oven for a while first to get them tender and then smoke them later for flavor.  Et tu, Brute?
