Now is probably a good time to do a mid-year review.  One of my favorite comedies is "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" with Michael Caine and Steve Martin.  If you haven't seen it, go!  It's easily one of the ten funniest movies of all time.  Anyway, in the movie, Steve Martin wants to be as good a con man as Michael Caine, and Caine says to him, "Freddy, as a younger man, I was a sculptor, a painter, and a musician. There was just one problem: I wasn't very good. As a matter of fact, I was dreadful. I finally came to the frustrating conclusion that I had taste and style, but not talent. I knew my limitations. We all have our limitations, Freddy. Fortunately, I discovered that taste and style were commodities that people desired. Freddy, what I am saying is: know your limitations. You are a moron."

In the spirit if that quote, I'm going to readjust my goals for the year.

I'm going to downward revise my goals for 2010 to 400K.  Still a good year, but doesn't have the same ring to it that half a buck would.  But I think this is more realistic.

* CASH GAMES - My new goal would mean I would have to make $35+K a month. I know I've only done it once in the last 6 months, but I think this is doable, if I continue to improve and I start playing 5/10 regularly.

* TOURNAMENTS - Since I've made NO money in MTTS, I could very easily just give up here, but I'm going to pencil myself in for $50K, on that well-founded scientific principle of "I think I'm due."

* WEIGHT - Nothing's gonna happen.  I'm going to take the "if you give a trillion monkeys a keyboard, one of them will be able to randomly type something that makes sense" approach and see what happens.  But I'll pencil myself in for 240.  That's how much I weighed when I married Mrs. Fly, and on the year of our tenth anniversary, that seems like a reasonable number to shoot for.

As Mrs. Fly would say, "Bok Bok"
