The year of frustrating poker continues...  To be honest, this week, I spewed off a few stacks.  So maybe if I played my "A" game, I could have been flat to up slightly, instead of down.  But I seem to be having a lot of situational bad luck... like no one giving me action when I bet with a hand and running into the tops of people's ranges on bluffs.  And especially unfortunate timing on deny free cards and giving free cards.  Ugh.  At least i got in a decent number of hands on the 4 days I played.

Oh well.  The Flys are on vacation, so the break from poker should give me chance to regroup and have a good rest of the quarter.

POKER

Here are the latest PokerScout 6 month trends.  I took the snapshot on February 10, because that's the day Stars' removal of the 20-50 games went into effect. It should be interesting to see what kind of traffic change Stars gets.  There seem to be a ton of CAP tables (which is pretty shocking, since there are none on FT), so maybe it won't hurt them at all.

Despite the poker legislation dying off at the end of last year, online poker seems to be hanging in there.  If I recall correctly, around now is roughly the seasonal high for the year (kind of hard to say with only a year+ of data).  Mmm...  sample size of 1.  So don't get too excited about the up-trend!

I think next quarter should be interesting, because I'll finally be able to post a "this is what the graph looked like a year ago, so we can get a year-over year comparison of the same time period.  Stats geeks rejoice!  Whee!!!  Pocket Protector Party!
