Happy Mother's Day!  In case any of you lunk-heads forget, call your mother!

My mother lives less than an hour away, so we're going to drive over and take her out to her favorite restaurant.  The local church is having its annual bazaar afterward, so maybe we'll stop by.  Can't beat fresh zeppoles!  My brother and sister live fairly close and will be there too, so it should be a fun time.  I will attempt to give Mrs. Fly a special Mother's Day "geeeft."  After she gives me the "WTF is wrong is wrong with you?!?" look, we'll just move on with our day.

May started off like ass, and then I made the money back. I suppose it's hard to tell from the graph tho, because I made it all back after midnight of May 8, and the graph doesn't cover that. Whatever. Sure would be nice if I wasn't running 15 buy-ins below ev. Again, whatever.

I've been really cranking out the hands this week. I feel like one of those PokerStars FPP Pros, as I'm on pace to play over 200K hands this month. I suppose if I could keep up that pace, I should just move over to Stars, as I can probably get double the rakeback I'm getting now. Probably won't happen tho (later post). Since I started playing 1/2 6max rush, I'm probably playing like 1K hands an hour. I actually enjoy playing two tables of 1/2 Rush along with the normal cash games. I play on a 30" monitor, but having 12-16 overlapping tiled tables popping up all over the place is a bit confusing and hectic at times. With the two rush tables, I can display like 9 tables and get in just as many hands. And it feels so much more leisurely (probably because I don't really care if I lose some buy-ins at 1/2).  So even tho I've been playing more, it's more relaxing now because i can actually watch the Yankees or golf while I play.

I'm pleased with how my game is progressing, and I expect to see better results in the weeks ahead. (I know I've said this before).  But I've had 4 decent sessions in a row, so I'm definitely encouraged.  Now if I can only get the poker gods to cooperate.  I'm finally taking a night off to relax with the Mrs.  After 45K hands in a week, I deserve it.
