I decided I've been playing too much and took part of the night off from playing.  I've played 85K hands so far this month and we're less than halfway into the month!  Instead I decided to some other poker-related things, like watching a few more videos, and thinking about some of my leaks.  Of course in the time I played, I got wanged for $1200 of negative ev.  Serves me right for being happy about being positive ev yesterday.  God damn it!  I'm such a fag.  I'm going to get better if it kills me!  Pleaz don't make me go back to work!

We also have a busy few days ahead of us.  I have a buddy coming to visit me tomorrow, so I probably won't play in the evening (maybe during the day). Mrs. Fly is going to some benefit thing in Manhattan tomorrow - something about families, domestic violence, fashion and violinists.  Hmm...  Hanging out with my out of town buddy with a few drinks watching the Yankee game, or getting dressed up in a tuxedo and schlepping into Manhattan for 6 hours of riveting travel and fun.  BTW, for those of you who don't know me, I consider wearing a suit or tuxedo akin to wearing a chicken suit.  Basically, I'm not comfortable in it, I feel ridiculous in it, and I would only do it if I had to for work.

Saturday we got invited to (again) to the Mario Batali disciple's house for another food orgy.  Even tho we met only a few months ago, we're starting to get pretty friendly, so I think I need to give them a name befitting this distinguished blog - for now, I will go with "Maria & Luigi" (even tho they are not Italian).  Let'sa go!  Sunday we're going into Manhattan to have dinner with some old friends.  So maybe getting back on a normal sleep schedule for the next few days isn't the worst thing for me (later post).
