[I had to edit this post because I thought today was Mother's Day]
So much for taking the night off from playing. Mrs. Fly was tired from all the cooking and cleaning so I decided to play poker. Very uneventful. Another one of those sessions where I dig myself a small hole and come back by the end of the session. Pretty much my month so far - dig hole, climb out. I don't want to be a digger - I want to be a climber!
I was a little tired, so I didn't play as long last night and instead I watched some videos from BlueFire Poker. I had heard some great things about it. So far, I think it's pretty good, but nothing worth commenting on. I'll probably have more to say after I watch a few more. The Giggy videos seem pretty entertaining so far.
WHAT'S FOR DINNER?
Lately our weekends have been pretty busy, so we decided to invite some friends over for dinner during the week. One family was the one we went to Disney with. They looove Mrs. Fly's home cooking - especially since they are busy professionals and have to order in all the time. We also invited the family that had us over for a barbecue last weekend, but their son was sick and couldn't make it. I didn't blog about it at the time (probably because I was too busy ranting about how badly I'm running), but they had tons of ribs and chicken. Mmmm... We also invited a neighborhood family, but the husband couldn't come because he works in financial services and the market took a huge plunge. Ahhh yes - I remember those days well. As much as I loved to trade, I can't say I miss those random WTF days that more often than not leads you to stopping out of your positions. And then you have to spend the next 24 hours watching the markets like a hawk, for aftershocks and in case it's the start of something big.
