I'm currently going thru what is probably the most intense run-good of my poker playing career.  Some of my "friends" in the forums will say my entire playing career has just been one big run-good.  Haters gonna hate.  ;-)  I'm up $10K (20 buy-ins) in ev the past week or so - up 8K (+6.5K ev) in the first two days of this month!  Yesterday, I hit a 1 outer on the river and my underpair aipf sucked out twice.

Usually I'm within a handful of buy-ins of neutral ev.  Before this run, I was only up 6K in EV for the year...  altho it turns out a number of HEM's EV calcs are incorrect - so who knows?!?

Yeah yeah... I know I doomswitched myself by posting a graph.  But hopefully, the shrine to Coola I have in the office (in a shoebox in the back of my closet where Mrs. Fly can't find it) will keep the run-good alive.

HANDS

Run good?  Villain is an aggro 3bet happy reg.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($525)
SB ($342.40)
BB ($1228.30)
UTG ($500.30)
UTG+1 ($566.70)
MP1 ($314.10)
Hero (MP2) ($417.20)
MP3 ($759.90)
CO ($400)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9, 9
2 folds, MP1 bets $15, Hero calls $15, 1 fold, CO raises to $44,
[WTF is up with that bet sizing?!?]

4 folds, Hero raises to $100,
[Most of the time, I just setmine here, but for this particular villain I just wanted to get it in.  I'm trying to avoid open shoving from EP and MP, so I decide there's enough room to 4bet]

CO calls $56

Flop: ($221) 10, 4, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $110,
[good flop for me.  time to march along with the plan...]

CO raises to $300 (All-In),

Hero calls $190
[a quick look at his stats and notes tells me he's aggro enough to do this with overs, and I can't imagine he did that ghey squeeze with a premium pp looking to get setmined by two players, so a call is ++ev]

CO had 6, 8
[tbh, I was a little surprised he had that much equity... 43%]

Turn: ($821) 6 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($821) A (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $821 | Rake: $3
Main pot: $821 between Hero and CO, won by Hero

Results:
Hero had 9, 9 (one pair, nines).
CO had 6, 8 (one pair, sixes).
Outcome: Hero won $818

In before people start min squeezing and flatting my 4bets with KK+.  Again, the plays are very villain-specific.

In before some of the younger guys say, "who is that cute black kid?"  I'm going to feel really old.
