One of the reasons I started my blog was because I was literally spending over an hour a day on 2+2 reading and writing posts on various "poker" topics, battling trolls, laughing at other regs, saying how threadsavers had pointy elbows, etc.  I pretty much moderate the FT MSFR thread (I have over 2x as many posts as the next person), and I have almost 5,000 posts in the last two years.  So I figured, why don't I channel all that poker writing enthusiasm into a blog?  The plan was that I would take the 1 hour of daily 2+2 posting and convert it to much less posting and 45 minutes of blogging.  Good idea in theory...

But what ended up happening was that over time, I went back to my old ways, and now I spend two hours a day between blogging and reading 2+2.  Nice...  Sometimes, I'm such a retard I have no idea how I made it this far in life.  Anyway, 2 hours a day is waaay more than I think I should be spending on writing about poker.  I enjoy it, but I have to start playing more and being a little more productive.  I dunno - like maybe getting off my fat ass and exercising, spending even more time with the family, cleaning the garage, peeping thru the neighbor's bedroom windows with my high powered binoculars - you know, the usual stuff.  Since I think the blog is pretty constructive, that meant 2+2 has got to go.

Well, maybe not completely.  I think what I should do is stick to my original plan, which was to just read/write on 2+2 ONCE A DAY - maybe right before I go to sleep or as soon as I wake up.  I decided to start that the other day.  The only exception I'll make is if I have some brutal dead time - like waiting in line, shopping with Mrs. Fly, taking a massive deuce, waiting to get bailed out of jail for getting caught being a peeping tom, etc.  Let's see how this goes.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

The Ants invited us and 14 of their family and friends over to their country club to have a nice holiday sit-down dinner.  It's also Flik's birthday, so it should be fun.  The dinner's not cheap - it's like eating out at a fancy restaurant.  They have a four course meal and OPEN BAR - I know you guys are more interested in the latter so I bolded that instead.  It was nice of them to want to splurge on their close friends, and we somehow sneaked our way past the cutoff.  LOL
