Well, this now marks five weeks of poker futility.  I've had four separate downswings of 10+ buy-ins in those five weeks, which is highly unusual for me.  What's even more odd is that they have all occurred in a short span of hands.  Part of it is just trying different things, but it's still frustrating nonetheless.  I suppose I should be at least content not to have lost money over that stretch.  Some of the better regulars have recently had 40-50 buy-in downswings.  I think the most important thing is that I'm happy with some of the things I'm doing at the tables, and I'm somewhat optimistic I'll break out of the rut soon.

I thought I would have played some hands at Stars by now, but I keep getting the itch to play Rush.  Now that I've decided to focus mainly on the full ring games, and the 2/4 Rush tables are reasonably populated, it's hard for me to want to leave.  Year-end is coming up tho, so I really need to dip my toe in the water so that I can make a better decision about Stars for next year.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

In today's segment of "what are those Krazy Koreans eatings?!?"  Guess the entree:
A) grilled snake
B) broiled bull penis
C) roasted turd
D) braised beef rolls

The correct answer is... D!  What a shocker!  If I can't find mackerel in the local stores, I'm certainly not going to be able to find any of the other ingredients (except the turd, ldo).  Basically they are thin slices of beef wrapped around some variation of meal-like filling.  TBH, it was meh - mostly because Mrs. Fly had never made it before and the beef tasted a little tough.  But I think it has potential, because the filling was scrumptious.  I will be somewhat distressed if I find out later this was actually bull penis and I loved it's "filling."
