We're having some people over for a BBQ today and since Mrs. Fly has to do all the work, I got up early to watch the kids while she slept in.  Not sure if it's because I didn't get enough sleep, but I'm drawing a blank on what to write about today.  So if you have any suggestions or questions, send me an email or PM on 2+2.

[Later that day]

Ugh.  I had too much to drink at our BBQ and am out of commission for tonight.  Since I won't be playing tonight, that means I can present the weekly update.  Nothing really to say other than some weeks, the poker ev gods smile on you and other weeks, they don't.  I now have 3 days to make 7K to avoid my worst month in a year.  I'll be grinding like a madman the next three days!

One of the mid stakes regs is in China and said they couldn't read my blog from there.  So I jokingly said that it's probably because I posted nude photos of Mrs. Fly.  The hits to my blog increased 55% today, and it's only 8PM.  I'll project it'll hit 75% by the end of the day.  Sex sells, baby!

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

It sure pays to know chefs.  We went over to a new friends' house yesterday and the food was outstanding.  Mrs. Fly is really good with pasta, but she's never made fresh pasta.  I knew we were in for a treat when the whole time we were having appetizers and wine, the hostess was rolling out the pappardelle (flat wide soft pasta).  She served it with a veal and pork bolognese sauce that was amazing.  I then finished that off with TWO of these brined pork chops with a balsamic reduction and grilled vegetables.  And she baked a dark chocolate cake and a key-lime pie for dessert.  We're supposed to have them over for dinner in May.  If I know Mrs. Fly, she's going to try and out-do this meal.  Now that's what I call win-win!
