Yesterday was the most depressing day in recent memory for a mid stakes full ring player.  For most of the evening, there were only SIX 2/4 full ring tables ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!!!  I'm glad I've been transitioning to 6max.  I know March Madness is going on, but even during the World Series, there were plenty of tables.  There were also about half as many 6max tables as I was expecting.  I could have played, but decided to do some more studying instead.

I signed up for DeucesCracked again.  Just a 1 month membership tho, because I'm a cheap bastard.  I was going to watch Nolan's 3 betting videos, but I got sidetracked and watched some BelugaWhale instead.  Nothing to see here.  I think it's a good sign that I'm getting better when I watch someone else's video and think most of the plays are "standard."  I still pick up a little nugget here and there tho, and really enjoy listening to other good players' thought processes (later post).

On the development front, I think I need to spend a little more time thinking about playing more pots effectively in position vs out of position.  Even tho I'm a decent regular, there are definitely areas where I have glaring leaks.  I only have three weeks until my Orlando vacation, and I would like to use that time to iron out a few things.  And my P&L goal for the month would be to not have my worst month in the last year, which would be $12K (when I took 2 weeks off for a family vacation).

TIP

DoubleFly's Tax Tip: Email Full Tilt's support and ask them for a summary of your 2009 deposits and withdrawals (with account balances). They sent me six 25K line excel sheets with every table I sat at, every rebuy, cashout, etc. for all of 2009.  It's a lot more accurate than using your database (assuming accuracy is what you're looking for).  It'll probably take me a little time to summarize the data (it will probably involve string functions and pivot tables), but at least I know I have the data.  It took like 2 days for them to get back to me, so you may want to avoid the April 15th rush.
