Blogging's been going pretty well.  I still enjoy it, and it's nice picking up new readers most every month.  I made it through all of last year without skipping a day, so I suppose that's somewhat of an accomplishment.  Going forward, I'm actually thinking of skipping a day or two on the weekends, since traffic seems pretty low on those days.  I thought Mrs. Fly was going to give me a "day" off, but we all know how that turned out.  Oh well!  As they say in Korea...  kom sah hom nee da (thanks)...  for nothing!  :-P

I have nothing to compare the above Statcounter graph to, but it seems like a lot of hits for a random hobby blog.  My "Blogging for Dummies" book told me to sign up on technorati.com to see how I rank on the Blogosphere.  To be honest, I have no idea how it works.  It seems like I've been on page 5 of the "poker" blog listings (top 50 that they track) for the last ten months, even tho traffic's been improving.  It looks like the sites are listed in some kind of order, but I can't figure out what it is.  Anyway, I think it's funny that they have me listed right above FT and UB's blog pages.  The Stars blog page is #1.  Big Corporations 1, Little (fat) Guy 2.

To be honest, I'm not sure what I want to do with the blog... I enjoy it, but I'm not sure if after a few years, I'll be like your grandfather rehashing the same stories over and over again.  "I remember when I was a young lad and used to get milk for a quarter and FT boxers for 10K points."  But maybe when I have fewer things to write about, that's when I'll think about assembling a book.  Maybe I'll call it... "Diary of a Nit."

Anyway, since I'm a blogging noob, if any of you guys have any suggestions as to other things I can/should do with the blog, let me know.
